Quality Control/Quality Assurance and Improvement

Quality Control/Quality Assurance is a required course for the ASET curriculum and certification. The importance of quality in manufacturing a product or providing a service is a major factor in the success of nearly every business or organization (manufacturing or service). Poor quality of products and faulty service is recognized as a powerful deterrent to acceptable sales profit and effective delivery of service. Every organization in the world has quality concerns and is trying to deal with it using the widely accepted standards. Quality costs such as rejection levels re-work costs redesign poor personnel attitude the performance of the wrong procedure wrong materials and incorrect identification are now recognized by more and more companies as controllable. That when properly corrected and lowered can multiply profits and improve customer satisfaction. Often it would determent the success or the failure of the enterprise no matter what enterprise you belong to. It is critically important that the technician understand this so that he/she can perform all tasks at the optimum level.
