Religiosity and spirituality have always been considered important elements of support for people who are suffering and/or ill. Formation as a Catholic priest is a process in which seminarians study for approximately seven years and during this time they can complete secondary school the so-called Propaedeutic and then study philosophy and theology. In addition they carry out interpersonal activities in the community (lectures catechesis a course for engaged couples pastoral work etc.). At the same time as not having to work to pay for their studies they live in larger cities with a different socio-cultural climate as well as living in middle-class accommodation. This study was intended to make a healthy contribution towards improving the mental health and quality of life of these future professionals who are opinion formers and a reference point in society.
