Quality of Life Between Diabetic & Non-Diabetic Amputees

A study was undertaken on the quality of life between diabetic and non-diabetic lower limb amputee patients. Forty patients were selected for this study. Amongst them twenty were diabetic and the rest of them belonged to non-diabetic lower limb amputees. The main objective of this study is to assess and compare the quality of life between diabetic and non-diabetic lower limb amputee patients. The tools used for this study to assess the quality of life of lower limb amputee patients in four domains (physical psychological social relationship and environmental factor) was a standard tool i.e. WHOQOL-BREF questionnaires.
