This research completes my Masters Journey. I have worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in rheumatology for a number of years. I have been amazed by the fortitude of the patients I have met and have been interested in seeing whether or not we can measure some aspects of quality of life that are important to them. I have found that ''Quality of Life'' means different things to different people making it very difficult to measure. There are many ''health-related quality of life'' measures that are available to use and I have attempted to outline the use of these measures in people with rheumatoid arthritis.
