Terrot Reaveley Glover (1869-1943) was a renowned Cambridge classicist and historian. In this book which was first published in 1941 Glover provides a series of sketches relating to various archetypal figures such as ''The Comrade'' and ''The Soldier'' in their relationship with Christianity and classical modes of thinking.
