The Questionnaire of Sugarcane and Quality Control is a combination of agricultural and chemical science. In agricultural and chemical sciences all activities should be completed within a specified timeframe because time is critical for crop yield and quality of the final product. This book discusses activities aimed at yield increase and discusses planting to harvesting the crop as well as quality aspects from the sugarcane field to sugar manufacture. It is hoped that the book will serve as a repository of information and prove to be highly useful for sugar industry professionals agriculture students and growers. About the Author B S TOMER completed his education from CCS University Meerut in 1993. He was SRF and RA (at Council of Science and Technology) up to 1995. During his doctorate studies and thereafter he published five research papers in international journals (Germany Russia Kenya and Bangladesh) and twenty in national journals. He has attended several national seminars and presented research papers. His first job in the sugar industry was as Officer (R&D) in TEIL. After a stint at the UP Co. Sugar Fed. he worked with several reputed companies in UP such as Triveni Sugar Mawana Sugars Bajaj Hindusthan Balrampur Chini Mills Seksaria Biswan Sugar DCM-Sriram. He is currently working with WEKSCOL (Rai Group) one of the best sugar companies in Kenya. He published his first book Ganna Prashanottary in 2005. VIJAY SINGH completed his graduation from CSJMU Kanpur University Kanpur in 1995. He completed ANSI (Sugar Tech) from National Sugar Institute Kanpur in 1999. His first job was in Bajaj Hindusthan Limited as Trainee Analyst He worked with DSCL Mawana Sugar and Olam Agro India Limited before his current role with West Kenya Sugar Company Limited Kenya. During the period he received training and certification from BONSUCRO DNV SGS FSSC etc.
