About The Book

Questions, a book in the Multiage Differentiated Curriculum Kit for Grades 4-6, asks students challenging questions that will change the way they look at their world. The books in Prufrock's new Multiage Differentiated Curriculum Kits employ a differentiated, integrated curriculum based on broad themes. This all-in-one curriculum helps teachers save planning time, ensure compliance with national standards, and most importantly, pique their students' natural excitement and interest in discovery.

By participating in the wide variety of activities in the Multiage Differentiated Curriculum Kit for Grades 4-6, students will question the world around them and gain a lifelong desire to learn. Students will learn about Socrates and his ideas about questioning. And, the Five W's are examined as students gather information to put together a school newspaper. Students also will examine a new type of comedy as they are challenged to create humorous scenes by only asking questions. These activities will help students gain an understanding about how our society has evolved due to people who were bold enough to ask questions.

Questions, along with the other books in the Multiage Differentiated Curriculum Kit for Grades 4-6 (Balances, Choices, Explorations, and Viewpoints), makes teaching advanced learners easier!

Grades 4-6

This curriculum unit makes use of the following great children's literature books:

Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo;

Fountains of Life: The Story of Deep-Sea Vents by Elizabeth Tayntor Gowell;

Slippery, Splendid Sea Creatures by Madelyn Wood Carlisle; and

one or more of the following books: Mistakes That Worked by Charlotte Foltz Jones, Brainstorm!: The Stories of Twenty American Kid Inventors by Tom Tucker, Accidents May Happen: 50 Inventions Discovered by Mistakes by Charlotte Foltz Jones, or The Kid Who Invented the Popsicle: And Other Surprising Stories About Inventions by Don L.
