To develop a vaccine a fungal plant microbe which had become extinct in the 1980s had to be recovered.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1); background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1)>To recover a sample of the microbe Dr. Amanda Kane a physicist with a background in quantum physics and the Time/Space Project and Dr. Amaqjuaq Kannak a microbiologist specializing in virology became fellow time travelers traveling back in time to 1978.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1); background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1)>Their project became an unexpected adventure taking them to Nunivak Island in Alaska to Gudalupe Island west of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula and to Utqiagvik the upper-most populated community in the United States and home to the Inupiaq Inuit ethnic group indigenous to Alaska.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1); background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1)>Amanda and Amaqjuaq (Amaq) indeed found adventure mystery intrigue and new cultural experiences in their race for the cure.</span></p>
