Culling from CPW's collection Lewis selected photographs artist books and video by artists who understand the needs of labor in the fullest sense of the word: a means through which we birth ourselves anew. The catalogue includes a curatorial statement by Sarah Lewis a history of the Woodstock Artist-in Residency program by CPW director Ariel Shanberg and an overview of the twenty year collaboration of CPW and the Samuel Dorsky Museum at SUNY New Paltz by Dorsky director Sara J. Pasti.</p>
