A celebratory curry and romantic evening were the only items that Rachael had planned for Harry's birthday. The railroad trip across India with a blues band a road-worn guitar kidnapping a procession of elephants and unexpected additions to the entourage were definitely not on the menu. Along with his three children his fiancé Rachael the blues band and the inimitable Mr Chatterjee Harry is confronted with the mystique and contradictions of the Sub-Continent as rising temperatures and dubious temperaments cause increasing disharmony amongst the Band. Negotiating erratic taxis bizarre bazaars errant musicians and wild Tuk-Tuks what Harry thought he'd lost he found with more besides. Finally playing the blues at a prestigious wedding reception along with an Indian dance troupe Harry reflects on a cacophony of experiences that just prove that no matter where you are the blues is more than a collection of tunes it's a lifestyle...with added spice.
