We hope someday their dreams materialize to bring out smiles in their parched lips.ABOUT THE AUTHORApu Mondal is an Indo Anglican poet. He was born on 16th February 1966 in Kolkata but educated in Karnataka. He is a High School teacher by profession teaching English at a Government Public School. A born poet he writes in English from his Degree College Days. He has about 2000 poems to his credit. His main concerns are nature and its survival human nature world peace and the trials and tribulations of the common people. His poems find place in national and international anthologies of poems. He has also been a judge of international poetry competitions. A well known Indo Anglican poet his poetry is influenced by a host of Indian English and American poets. He is a winner of several awards including some Honorary Doctorate Degrees. His writing style is simple and lucid with a pinch of humour sometimes. He is associated with several poetry groups and regularly contributes his poems to these groups
