About the Book: I am forwarding the wright about the book as under in continuation of my yesterday’s mail:-“ Raj-Rekha is one of the famous Hindi books written by Late Kushwah Kant. This book was written in 1950 with a story set in the pre-independence era. This book was very popular in 1960-70. This book contains romance secrecy patriotism etc. This book has been written about how a few patriot people struggled for the independence of India in their own way. This book displays the romance not in a real sense but more of love for the country and respect for each other between Raj and Rekha. The actual word for this romance in Sanskrit or Kannad is “SNEHA”. In this book Male and females are depicted as equal. Love for the country is shown more than the love for each other. This book is worth reading for its actions and how the secrecy is maintained throughout.” About the Author: Col Arjun Sarapure(Retd) has served in the Indian Army for 35 yrs. He has written 5-6 articles for English Magazine “Womansera”. His first short story was published in Indian Military Academy a half-yearly magazine while he was Undergoing training and got first prize. This is his first attempt to translate a Hindi Book “Lal-Rekha” into Kannad “Raj-Rekha” His hobby is planting different fruit trees on his Farm House Hosur and playing Chess online. He has a daughter and two sons the elder one is serving in Army as a Colonel and the younger one is a Data scientist and Working in Boston(USA). Spending Happy retired life in Pune.
