RAJARAJASOLANIN MARUPAKKAM

This book ciritically analyses the reign of the most famous of the later chola kings namely RAJARAJASOLAN THE GREAT. It was during his time and his sons time that the chola kingdom was at its zenith.  He had extended his rule from west coast of South India /ARABIAN SEA to regions beyond the shores of the Bay of Bengal.They easily defeated the    islands of Srilanka( also called as Ceylon and Ezam Malaya Indonesia vietnam.. Alas they were also  greatly influenced by the BRAHMINICAL s ect that has taken to temple worship and  Linga puja which was explicitly barred in the Vedhas. whatever the kings earned by the wars sacrificing innocent lives  of the citizens went to the treasury of the temples and hence to uphold  the tyrannical brahmin rule. This is the other side or the filip side of the all the cholas particularly RAJARAJASOLAN. This book with unassialable proof in the form of copper plate inscriptions and the stone inscriptions establishes the fact that most if not all chola kings were almost acted like the slaves of the brahmin priest hood. Without batting an eyelid they transfered many acres of fertile land of the Kaveri basin to the temples and the brahmins who not only were the priests but also rajagurs( chief adviser to the king. In doing so they cared not for the toiling millions who were working and  somtimes owning the lands.
