Rambles

<p>The classics never get old. Those tales we read about in school all those years ago continue to amuse us and warn us. They are as Jerry Criteser says a well of cool water that never runs dry. His long poem about Medea has all of those ancient characters brought back to life in our own time. Between the Lines goes behind the curtain as the audience is watching the characters on stage. We can see and hear what is really going on.</p> <p>The Saxon- Norman trilogy of plays sheds a little light on those Dark Ages with a little blood a little humor and a lot of dying.</p><p>His poetry ( he thinks of himself as a poet ) takes you to the planet Mercury with a geeky high school student to his front lawn at dawn to a couple of dalliances ... one in San Antonio and the other in third-century Rome. Helen of Troy is back again unavoidably but fortunately just for a brief mention. Enjoy.</p>
