Throughout the centuries the Church has been struggling to understand the promise of Christ's return. Christ said all these will happen before this generation ends. Theologians continue to wrestle in defining and qualifying what He meant with what He said. It is sad to note that C.S. Lewis being hardwired to futurism went so far as to say that Christ did not actually know what He was talking about. I believe this work offers an alternative solution to this theological conundrum.
