In writing this work I have tried to get beneath theclichés of disability metaphors to reveal the socialconstructions surrounding this theme. In thisresearch I have sought to understand inclusionwithin the various experiences I am engaged with inmy professional and academic responsibilities.Inclusion also needs to be understood within anassortment of perspectives.Being an ocular-centredcommunity we need to see what is happening and toread stories that are close to the reality we aresuccumbed in. These are stories that transcend fromthe people to the people rather than from theresearchers/academics to researchers/academics. Thatis why this work becomes the process of not onlyidentifying the complex dynamics and snagssurrounding the inclusion agenda I am engrossed inbut also maps out a way to get back on trail and tocome up with the answers.
