Ready Set March

At all costs what we must value is the soul—white luminous eternal and priceless. When the soul is sound and pleased it works wonders on both body and mind. Light and free it is yet imprisoned in the body remaining captive until the body perishes when it regains its immortal self. By nature the soul is perfect and full and when cherished it brings joy to its bearer. To preserve its purity we must follow the dictates of conscience—the true command of God. When rightly heard and practiced it brings prosperity brilliance and future glory. Nurtured with divine virtues the soul shields us from harm. And this though profound is so simple to do. Here is an earnest expostulation. Anjali A. Nair studied at St. Joseph’s Anglo-Indian School Calicut. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English Literature from Providence Women’s College Calicut and Calicut University respectively achieving high first-class marks at both levels.
