While the Revolutionary War winds down east of the Allegheny Mountains in western Pennsylvania a tribe of Delaware Indians take to the warpath. A 19-year-old girl Rebecca Walker witnesses the killing of her parents and brother by a raiding party and is captured herself. After unsuccessful escape attempts she falls in love with a member of the tribe Mamalachgook. She convinces him to run away with her but further adventure awaits Rebecca.</p><p>The author was born and raised in Omaha Nebraska. In 1971 He enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and received a degree in Civil Engineering in May 1976. He worked for the Federal Government as an engineer from June 1976 until January 2008.</p><p>His first book was Brendan of Kilrush. It is a historical adventure novel intended for the young adult market. Brendan of Kilrush was published by Ink Smith Publishing in 2014 and is available as a paperback.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
