Recognizing the Other Side

<p class=ql-align-justify><strong>Recognizing the Other Side is a poetry memoir. Every poem locates a place in my life that I engaged in mentally emotionally and spiritually. On this journey of discernment there's always an alternative that could be considered. I began to discover what's important is invisible to the naked eye starting with my spirituality. I didn't say this with spookism in mind. As a result I am coming from a place of cognizance. My spirit is only energy that vibrates on high and low frequencies and to make sure it functions to the best of its ability I had to develop it through discipline. Starting with traditional practices that satisfied my flesh rather than liberating my soul left me empty. </strong></p><p class=ql-align-justify> </p><p><br></p>
