Reconnecting with America

After living in Europe for fifteen years the author set out to reconnect with his two sons and his country.. The story describes the author’s 8000 mile motorcycle journey and the people he met along the way. The book explores what Americans care about and why and exposes some curious American cultural characteristics.. The author probes the American populist movement. He concludes that some Americans fear the country is losing its soul others are afraid they will lose the things they have worked to accumulate. The struggle between the two ideologies defines the culture.
