<p>In 1977 Buenos Aires as Argentina's junta disappears thousands of civilians a military death squad kills an author of children's books and abducts his pregnant wife her sister and the couple's infant daughter. Miriam Rosen will wage a decades-long struggle to learn the fate of her daughters and grandchildren. Her story is intertwined with the 2010 story of Kelly Martinez a 32-year-old Philadelphia doctor. When her adoptive mother dies Kelly receives an anonymous photograph of a woman labeled Your Mother which prompts her to initiate her own search for her birth family. On their converging paths to the truth Miriam and Kelly will become entangled in a web of terror that threatens their lives and families and haunts its victims to this very day.</p>
