Redwood Road

Redwood Road is the exciting tale of the times surrounding the opening of Pelican Bay State Prison in Northern California. It is both a romance and a mystery as well as a story about the striving to find ones self in the world we have made. Reporter Rick Blaine leaves his hometowm of many years to accept a new job in the growing town of Crescent City growth spurred by the opening of one of the harshest prisons in America. Rick meets many bizarre yet human characters and they together seek the meaning of it all in the outback of the Redwood National Forest. Ultimately Rick meets the love of his life only to lose her to his own human frailties. Redwood Road is filled with insight into the struggle for human dignity in a world filled with imperfection and deceit.
