Reflection on the ethical stage of Kierkegaard

Born from a melancholy and a despair the ethical stage of Søren Kierkegaard is the highest degree of the existence. Intermediate of the aesthetic and religious stages it represents the alternative to which the individual is exposed who becomes aware of himself. The reflection on the existence deepens and tends the man towards a knowledge of oneself in order to find a truth which is clean to him. Closely linked to the notion of subjectivity the ethical sphere challenges the individual in his relationship with the world and pushes him to rethink his social relationships and his means of communication. In this book Nadine Sarah digs into a reflection on this ethical stage by analyzing its different explanations by proposing a visual representation of it but also by putting it in relation with the life choices of this great Danish thinker.
