<p>Considering present growth of juvenile delinquency in India and policies adopted for their poor reformation and rehabilitation as compared to British Era through Reformatory School Act and Apprentice Act there must be an effort to adopt stringent and effective policy in the case of present juvenile delinquents. The legislation does not fulfill the objective on corrections of juvenile deilnquents. The concerned states in India as well as Central Government should upgrade the system for reformation. A comparative status of this book of past and present policies may help policymakers to have a choice in the subject. </p>
