This novel portrays a fictional story about homelessness in America as that wide-spread epidemic may result from poverty mental-disorders substance-abuse or post-incarceration syndromes. The novel conveys issues of concern to every citizen whether rich poor Christian or non-Christian. Even though the book is based on fiction the plans and hopes of eliminating homelessness and various mental disorders has great possibilities for those affected and those willing to be mainstreamed back into society. This is not just another help the homeless to eat effort but rather Refurbished will assist the poor in how to strengthen their own feeble knees. There in Nevel New York the famed psychiatrist Kyris Musak a thirty-nine year old devout Christian and her fearless bodyguard is compelled to venture into the dangerous alleys of the homeless to find the hope-to-be-saved souls. The doctor had grafted into her already flourishing practice a fool-proof make-over program that would not only generate jobs for these since completely rehabilitated men but would also make entrepreneurs of the ones who successfully completes the three-year refurbish program. The rich doctor attributes her millions made from the refurbish program to God having blessed her un-selfishness towards the poor. This sad but exciting epic proves that even after being raised extremely impoverished one can pull themselves up from the pit of degradation and into a more fulfilling lifestyle. Kyris did even after being abused as a child beyond physical repair and having to raise her younger brother for an abusive mother. Throughout this book are true biblical scriptures. Though there is a rape and attempted rape executed in the book there is no profanity or consenting sex acts. There are however some violence and unexpected dangers.
