This manual deals with antitank gunnery and tactics and was issued in 1939. It deals with the training and use of the German 3.7cm Pak antitank gun. It is an addition to the original Reibert (also published by Naval and Military Press) but is a complete training manual in itself.''It covers the basics weapon training for rifle and machine gun as well as for the 3.7cm Pak and is full of relevant diagrams drawings and plates to explain (even to the non German reader) how the gun was operated and the tactics for its employment in battle. The gun itself was a light antitank weapon and often disparaged by the soldiers who fought by its side but it had enough penetration to discomfort many French and British tank commanders in 1940 and it also went into Russia until the T34 ended its front line usefulness.''The book looks at aiming and firing the gun and gives a number of silhouettes of likely targets (including Russian tanks interestingly). It is a first class introduction into German antitank tactics and needs to be studied in depth particularly with its sister publication Reibert: Der Dienstunterricht im Heere - Ausgabe fr den Schtzen der Schtzenkompanie also published by Naval and Military Press.
