Reinforced Self-Compacting Concrete Blended with Fly Ash and Alccofine

Self-compacting concrete is a concrete where vibration is not required for compaction. Due to its flow property the concrete is considered to be highly workable. A well-made SCC must have upraised fluidity high segregation resistance and sufficient passing ability to flow across and close by reinforcement without interception or segregation. In order to produce self-compacting self-levelling and flowing concretes use of superplasticizers is mandatory. High cost is one of the disadvantages of SCC which is due to the use of huge volumes of portland cement and chemical admixtures.
