Relationship Between Self-Esteem and Life Satisfaction : A Study on Young Adults : Positive Psychology (Research)

The research paper and review of literature in this book aimed to examine the Relationship between Self–Esteem and Life Satisfaction among Young Adults at the undergraduate college level. The sample of the study consisted of young adults in Delhi India.Know the reason and conclusion behind the result through the obtained data examined. Which found that there is a negative correlation between self-esteem and life satisfaction among undergraduate college students. Also there is a negative relationship between self-esteem and life satisfaction among male as well as female undergraduate students. As for the self – esteem the results revealed that females seem to have a higher level of self–esteem. When it comes to life satisfaction males demonstrated higher scores as opposed to females. Lastly know the reason for an insignificant difference between self-esteem and life satisfaction among college students concerning gender variables.
