Relentless Mercy

<p>The sermons included in this collection were preached to different congregations I served in interim pastorates over a period of about nine years. In choosing to organize this collection around a single theme I have tried to suggest the contours of a biblical theology of mercy; however there is nothing systematic about this presentation and the reader is sure to note many gaps and omissions. These are simply snapshots of Sunday-to-Sunday preaching generally following the Revised Common Lectionary and I hope the reader will be forgiving.</p>
