Skylar had dealt with plenty of loss before but when her best friend (Paige) dies of a drug overdose Skylar feels hopelessly lost. Skylar takes on the task of completing Paige's bucket list as a way of coping with the loss. Along the way she meets unforgettable people but the most unforgettable is Brendon Callaway. Brendon is not your average California boy; he's secretive and dangerous but maybe that's what draws Skylar to him in the first place.
