Remembering True Love is a spiritual journey of Carrie''s life through the past 60 years. Through many struggles Carrie learned as a young military bride that her husband Burt was addicted to alcohol and love reflected a gentle sadness. Life became filled with pain and fear so different from the quiet life she once lived at Great Meadow. Through faith Carrie realized that heartaches prune the heart of every believer. Whether a spouse partakes of alcohol or not she believes Christian faith is most sufficient. Presently she realizes that those years were the best in life! For it was during her most difficult years that God displayed his remarkable intervention in her weary waiting.
