Reminiscences of a South African Pioneer

Reminiscences of a South African Pioneer is a memoir written by W.C. Scully a South African pioneer who lived during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Scully was born in Ireland in 1855 and emigrated to South Africa with his family in 1873. In his memoir he recounts his experiences as a farmer hunter and explorer in the South African bushveld. Scullys memoir provides a vivid and often entertaining account of life on the South African frontier during the late 19th century.
