Remote Monitoring of Crop Field Using Wireless Sensor Network

Crop field monitoring is useful class of sensor network applications using Internet of things application for smart agriculture with enormous potential benefits for the farmers and society as a whole. This project represents the design and the implementation of a Wireless Sensor Network using Internet of things (IOT) that monitors the air temperature humidity and life wetness in a crop field and from remote places. The sensor data is wirelessly transmitted to a centrally located computer or mobile terminal that logs the field data within seconds. The data collected can aid the farmers in achieving maximal crop productiveness and water management.
