Removal of Phosphate from wastewater by Adsorption

Water is the prime necessity of life and survival is not possible in the absence of water. No life without water is a common saying. Water may be present in rivers ponds lakes and in ground reservoirs. Due to its unique properties water is of multiple uses for all living organisms. Water is absolutely essential for life. Most of the life process takes place in water contained in the body uptake regulation of temperature and removal of wastes are all mediated through water. Water has the property to dissolve many substances in it therefore it can get easily polluted. The wide expanse of phosphate engender from various applications to these limited sources. Therefore there is need to search an effective low cost adsorbent for economical waste water treatment.
