About The Book

Tight stenoses of the renal arteries can be of atherosclerotic origin related to fibromuscular dysplasia or Takayasu disease. They can lead to secondary hypertension called renal-vascular hypertension. The treatment of these lesions is primarily medical but may sometimes require surgical or endovascular revascularization. Endovascular revascularization is currently playing an increasingly important role in the management of these lesions. The endovascular technique is well mastered but the results are not well known. The objective of this work was to evaluate the results of endovascular treatment of renal arteries in our team.
