Representation of the typical characters El Coraza and Chaqui Capit��n

Cultural memory is an important factor to build cultural identity in the present (Rosas 2008) which is why the representation of the typical costume of the characters Coraza and Chaqui Capitán and its exhibition in public events allows to promote the culture and tradition of the province of Imbabura. The representation of the characters Coraza and Chaqui Capitán through the design and elaboration of the giants is an alternative to promote and transmit the indigenous culture of the province of Imbabura to the general public.
