Rice is the most widely consumed cereal in Brazil and is a staple food on the tables of most of the population. The aim of this study was to evaluate upland rice genotypes collected in the Vale do Ribeira region of São Paulo in terms of their reproductive structures productivity grain quality and the richness of their nutritional content. The genotypes were planted evaluated and characterised at the Experimental Farm of the São Paulo State University Experimental Campus of Registro.
