Response of pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum L.)

The present study entitled “Response of pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum L.) to vermicompost biofertilizers and nitrogen levels.” was conducted at Agronomy Research Area CCSHAUHISAR during Kharif 2016 with the objective to study the effect of vermicompost biofertilizers and nitrogen level on growth yield attributes and yield nutrient uptake and economics of pearl millet hybrid HHB-223 under various treatments. In the main plot there were manurial treatment viz. control biomix vermicompost @ 2.5 t ha-1 and vermicompost @ 2.5 t ha-1 + biomix whereas in sub plot there was nitrogen levels viz. 70 80 90 and 100 per cent RDN so there were a total 16 treatment combination.
