I dont know what I am.For the last ten years Ive lived like a shadow in the lives of others invisible and intangible. Im compelled to kill and the problem is that I cant find a way to make it stop. Theres no rhyme or reason to who I murder and no one I can communicate warnings to.For the last ten years nothing has ever changed. So when Im the only witness to a murder in downtown London I decide that I need to make something change. The closest thing I have to a friend is also the only person who can even halfway perceive me: Lady Arabetta Yeboah a dramatic self-employed psychic who deliberately looks and dresses the part in order to scare off skeptics. I need to find a way to tell her what happened and if by some miracle that works we need to find a way to get the police to take her seriously.I wouldnt complain if the adventure helped me figure out who I am in the process but lets be honest - when has anything ever been that easy?
