RESTORATION OF A GANGSTER

<p><strong><em>Restoration of a Gangster</em></strong> is a story about love unity spiritual growth and the dynamics of life for the Black man in the streets of Kansas City Missouri in the 1960s-1980s and the hardship of betrayal. It is the story about growing up and being an endangered Black species in the cold hard streets of Kansas City Missouri. I was born Andre Maurice Henry in Kansas City Missouri on August 21 1956 to Charles and Shirley Henry. My earlier years were spent in a little country town named Vian Oklahoma where my parents originated from. Ironically my cousin Gary Donnell Shade was born in Vian Oklahoma but he spent his earlier years in Kansas City Missouri. We came up hard. Being black we were born an endangered species straight out of the gate.             </p>
