In Colombia the situation currently faced by children and adolescents represents a challenge and a subject of important discussion on human rights due to the different scenarios to which this population is exposed which are full of violence delinquency affective professional and economic deficiencies differing from what is constitutionally proposedThe restoration of the rights of minors who are immersed in criminal proceedings in the city of Medellin and the identification of the most relevant aspects of national legislation regarding the rights of children and adolescents in the System of Criminal Responsibility for Adolescents. These elements that guide the institutional work seek to reinforce family and professional support to this population to ensure their protection education and growth both emotionally and professionally.
