Restore Pension for 44000 Air India Retirees

About the Book: To the authorities concerned of the Government of India (GoI) (since Air India had already been sold to TATAs hence we are addressing to GoI) and exhort the GoI to consider immediately our Rightful Legal & Constitutional demand for the restoration of payment of Pension(please note that the stress is on RESTORATION and we are not asking /begging for Pension) @ 40% minimum and 50% maximum of our last drawn basic pay of the originally promised pension along with Arrears (not to worry because calculation is shown by way of book adjustment at the last page of this book) for the period from mid-2000 when AI Retirees (AI & IA) were getting 40% to 50% pension on the last drawn Basic Pay + DA + Personal Pay where it was left off to till date when government decides to pay and we hope it is at the earliest calculated on the basis of the originally promised pension rate of 40% to 50% which the retirees were getting and which was stopped unceremoniously all of a sudden during mid-2000s for no fault of the them without any notice. Kindly note that we the AI Retirees who are struggling even for basic survival are not asking for anything new at all we are asking only to continue giving the pension which we were getting once. About the Author: The author of the book is Subharao Guru Raj (S G Raj). He is 66 years old. He served in Air India as Senior Manager (Personnel)(Retd). He retired on 30th June 2016. When he retired he served at Maintenance & Repairs Overhaul (MRO) Air India Ltd RGIA Shamshabad Hyderabad. After retirement he was some write ups in whatsapp group meant for ‘Air India Pensioners Welfare Association Delhi” where in the President of that Association began appreciating the ideas which I was contributing. Then I was also appointed as Core-Committee Member of that association. The President also encouraged us to directly submit the representation to the CMD of Air India then Minister of State for Home Civil Aviation Minister and also the Prime Minister during the period 2021-23 for favourable consideration and nothing materialized out of any of the above.
