Results of radical cystectomy with Briker urinary diversion

The choice of the method of intestinal urinary diversion after radical cystectomy should be based not only on the knowledge of the current state of the tumor process and the prognosis of its subsequent course but also take into account the comorbid status that affects the overall survival rate the level of intellectual status which promotes the patient''s compliance with one or another method of intestinal diversion.All patients who underwent Bricker urinary diversion should have the parietal peritoneal sheet restored over the ureteroileoanastomosis area.The choice of Briker''s operation as a method of urinary diversion after radical cystectomy is reasonable in patients with life expectancy up to 5 years.
