Rethinking Scaling

We call ourselves knowledge workers yet we operate in organizations that are hostile to deep thinking. We attempt to escape pyramids in the name of business agility by repainting them with curvy shapes and giving them fancy names. We shy away from direct communication hiding behind boxes built from assumptions and ego.It is time to admit that much of the complexity we face is homemade. It is time to design scaled organizations that truly nurture deep thinking and bring the right people together to leverage collective organizational knowledge - for stronger alignment and faster better decisions. It is time to rethink scaling.
