Its purpose is to give encouragement and hope for all Christians to continue watching for the return and triumph of the Lord Jesus Christ. It also is to warn of the Final Judgment that nonbelievers will endure on that Last Day. The Book of Revelation from the Bible is God's way of warning the world that one day it will stop turning. This will be a time when His wrath on the sinful nature of mankind will be released.
