Revelation's Rift

<p>In the half-light of dawn Professor David Sinclair sat at his desk absorbed in ancient manuscripts that whispered tales from bygone eras. A soft knock at his door pulled him from his reverie. Upon opening the door he meets the university's mailman carrying a folded note and a heavy package.</p><p>"Special delivery for you Professor Sinclair" the postman remarked his eyes betraying a hint of curiosity.</p><p>David accepted both items nodding. The note written in neat looping handwriting read:</p><p>To Professor David Sinclair</p><p>Enclosed is a 1901 King James Bible bequeathed to you by Mrs. Eleanor Hartley.
