Reveries and Observations of an Old Man

We tend to consider people who agree with us as being more intelligent than people who do not.I have concluded when something smells it is a good idea to think twice before sticking your nose in it.My father failed to pull out in time and so my twin and I were conceived. The year was 1936the Great Depression was showing little sign of ending and my father had been out of work for a long time. About the last thing my parents needed was an additional child much less twins.Between campaigning fund raising parades picture taking and the multitude of social functions it is a wonder our politcians have any time to attend to what they were elected to do.
