Review of Logic Circuits and Designing of Combinational Circuits

The simple time independent logic circuits that are implemented using logic gates whose output value depends only on the input logic values can be called as combinational logic circuits. Unlike synchronous sequential circuits in combinational circuit the output changes occur in direct response to the change in input signal. As soon as inputs are changed the information about the previous inputs is lost that means combinational logic circuits don''t have any memory. The designing of combinational circuits is very simple. Different types of logic circuits are reviewed in the starting of the book. This book describes analysis of combinational circuits with examples. Different types combinational circuits are also designed. Various logic functions are also implemented using different types of combinational circuits in this book.
