Reward System & its Impact on Motivation & Morale of the Employees

In any organization reward system is an important part. It is a system by which employees of an organization are recognized and rewarded for their performance. A reward and recognition programme is an important means of motivating the employees of any organization and thereby affecting or transforming the way of working habits performance and key behaviour. These programmes are considered to help and benefit the employees as well as the organization. This book is a study conducted on the existing reward systems in two important sectors or industries viz. Information Technology & Manufacturing in the city of Pune India. The major focus of this book has been the different types of reward systems prevailing in these industries and the impact these rewards have on the motivation level and morale of the employees.
