About the Author: Kamlesh Tripathi is an Indian author poet and columnist with a diverse background. He has authored several books and has over 36 years of experience in the corporate world where he held senior positions including that of a vice president. He is the son of the late Sri Kamakhya Prasad Tripathi a member of the first Indian Parliament and former Finance Minister of Assam. His father played a key role in receiving the 14th Dalai Lama and his retinue in 1959 during their escape from Tibet. Kamlesh is a regular contributor to several publications including Bhavan’s Journal The Shillong Times The Assam Tribune The Arunachal Times The Goan Net and Bandra Times. Apart from writing Kamlesh is a passionate golfer and member of prominent clubs and an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad. He is also dedicated to supporting poor children suffering from cancer.
